He also publishes a personal newsletter on Substack focused on original investigatory reporting at The Stern Facts. His first series of books, "Meet the Candidates 2020" is distributed by Simon and Schuster with Skyhorse Publishing of New York.
In the past, Grant’s writing has appeared on the Miami Herald’s op-ed pages and also a five-year column at HuffPost, in addition to being a contributing investigatory reporter for DCReport.org, Alternet, and Raw Story. Stern’s investigative reporting was featured from 2017-2020 on a news website called The Stern Facts. Grant used to host a weekly local radio broadcast on Miami’s Bloomberg network affiliate 880 the Biz and later on Jolt Radio called the "Only In Miami Show" every Monday from 2013 through 2020. He is also the executive producer of the "Dworkin Report," a top political podcast. He is also a public speaker at numerous conferences about social media, activism, and modern journalism. He is an unpaid senior advisor to The Democratic Coalition and one of the Directors of Sunshine Agenda Inc., a government transparency and civil rights nonprofit organization. Grant founded Morningside Mortgage Corporation in 2005 and still serves as its principal broker. As an experienced professional mortgage broker, his unique insight into the real estate market has been sought as a source for stories by local and national news outlets on Bloomberg TV, The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, CNBC, and 60 Minutes. He has been an expert witness in real estate matters. Morningside Mortgage Corporation owns The Stern Facts. Grant is a native of Miami, Florida, and a graduate of the prestigious New World School of the Arts for vocal music. Stern serves on the New World School of the Arts Alumni board, where he served as the organization’s Secretary from 2015-2022. He's also an alumnus of Florida State University and Miami-Dade College and has extensive knowledge in regard to politics, activism, and the real estate market. He is the father of one girl. |
